Great place for hamburger and fries, which we tried. Service is good and we would recommend a reservation which can be done online. Or be prepared to wait :).

Had a nice lunch here during our visit to NYC. Food was great. Service was great. Near Central Park. Nice atmosphere and open to outside with nice weather. I had the chicken pot pie. Tasted good. I dumped it out on the plate though because it wouldve taken ages to cool. Hubby had fish and chips and said it was great.

We actually walked in with out a reservation, the place was quiet full and we were offered to sit outdoors which I wasn't pleased with since it was my Birthday weekend, then the host went and ask the Manager Tanya and we were able to sit indoors. As time went on and chatting to Tanya, we found out that she's from the same town in Puerto Rico as my wife is... the Waiter Anthony (Tony) was on point, very knowledgeable and friendly, I ask for recommendations and they were all Great... I was surprised with a wonderful ch-cake and a candle for my Birthday ... Once again Thank you very much to Tanya and Tony for making my Birthday a wonderful one, will definitely come back on my next visit to NYC... Much Appreciated . I almost forgot, you guys make The Best Old fashion...

Was going to a show at the Lincoln center and this restaurant was right across the street so we decided to check it out on a recommendation from a friend. I'm so glad I did because everything about this place was phenomenal!!! I made a reservation online and we were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress came over immediately. Brought us water told us about the menu and that they were known for their burgers. So obviously that's what we had to try! It was absolutely cooked too perfection and the fries are shoestring fries and we're absolutely delicious. We started with a couple of cocktails and I was obsessed with the little old school red and white tablecloths they had as well. Every single person we encountered on this staff was friendly and helpful and wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough. Prices were very average for New York but the atmosphere puts this place over the top!!! I will definitely go back!

I’ve been coming to P.J. Clarke’s for nearly 10 years, and it’s always a place I look forward to returning to. The level of personalized service is rare to find in New York City, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back—even though I’ve since moved out of the area. Christian always greets me by name and remembers my drink order, no matter how much time has passed. His hospitality makes this spot feel like a true neighborhood gem. The food is fantastic, the hosts are always welcoming and the staff is always friendly. It’s become my go-to, and I’m always appreciative of the consistent service that makes it feel like home every time I visit.

My friends and I had such a fun time here!! The service was great, our server was so fun and easy to talk to- he joined in our conversations a few times and we all had such a great laugh. The food was also so amazing!! Highly recommend this place for a good dinner and yummy dessert.

We stopped in 1/4/25 in the afternoon and had the most wonderful server, Christian. We ordered a few drinks after checking in at the Empire and had a wonderful time. He was very attentive. The shamrock on top of the foam on the Guinness was a beautiful and artistic touch. We appreciated the atmosphere and hospitality immensely. We went back the next morning for a drink before heading into another part of the city and to our surprise and delight, we had the same bartender/server Christian !!! He remembered EXACTLY how I liked my martini from the day before and I'm sure he sees a lot of different faces coming into the city. I thought that was incredible. It was so good, I convinced my fiancee to stay for brunch and I was so happy we did !!! Christian was very attentive, friendly and his attention to detail was impressive. Impeccable service !!! We had a burger and truffle fries, half dozen oysters and a few drinks. We've been quite a few nice places and are not easily impressed. This place is impressive for a quick Gastro Pub. Amazing burger! Bun was soft, meat was perfectly charred, and nothing was overwhelming. Really good balance. The chicken milanese also stood out, and I was able to take half of it back home since it was such a generous serving. Maybe skip the pretzels - they were a bit too rich for us. Great experience dining here late after the movies on a friday night. It can get a bit loud if the bar is full but I would definitely come again. Great american classics!
